According to Transunion, Alaska's mortgage delinquency rate in the second quarter of 2011 was the fourth lowest in the nation at 2.64 percent. The three lowest states were Nebraska (2.43), South Dakota (2.31) and North Dakota (1.45).
The highest rates were in Florida (13.91), Nevada (13.04), California (7.83) and Arizona (7.78). The national average was 5.82 percent, down from 6.19 in Q1 of 2011 and 6.67 in Q2 of 2010.
