The Census Bureau has released 2010 demographic profiles for thirteen states including Alaska. The Anchorage Daily News has a nice summary. Fast facts:
- The median age was 33.8, exactly three years younger than the national average of 36.8.
- The average household size was 2.65 people per household.
- Among the state's occupied housing units, 63.1 percent were owned, compared with 36.9 percent that were rented.
